likes don’t pay the bills—let’s talk real ROI

Reader

When I first started working with medical and dental aesthetic clinics, I noticed a pattern. A very toxic pattern.

Everyone thought social media was the answer—the magic bullet to grow their business. “Just post more,” they’d say. “Go viral, and the clients will come flooding in.”

But one experience humbled me real quick.

I remember working with a cosmetic dentist who said, “Followers? More followers?

Well, Cheri, with all due respect, we want to see an ROI. Where the hell is our money going?”

That’s all it took. I knew then that likes and followers weren’t enough to help businesses like you. With my background working in a medical office, I understood how to bridge that gap. I integrated their EHR with my tools, started tracking everything, and suddenly, showing ROI was easy like 1 2 3.

Here’s what I’ve learned:

1️⃣ Email marketing brings in more revenue.

While social media creates awareness, email is where the money is. It helps you build stronger connections and consistently drive bookings.

2️⃣ Social media is unpredictable.

Algorithms change, apps go down, engagement fluctuates, and relying on it is like throwing spaghetti at the wall. Some sticks, but most doesn’t.

3️⃣ No systems in place means no way to convert followers into paying patients.

Without systems, those likes and followers stay just that—likes and followers. Systems turn interest into action and action into revenue.

What so many people don’t realize is that marketing isn’t just about posting on Instagram. It’s about an entire ecosystem working together that feed each other.

Social Media

Email Marketing

Website

Lead Generation

Ads

Event Marketing

Google My Business

When these pieces don’t work together, it’s a recipe for chaos, missed opportunities, and wasted money.

That’s why I launched "The Takeover" —a full-service marketing program, application-only, and exclusive to one clinic per zip code.

When I used to offer only social media services, I saw the gap.

Social media wasn’t enough to drive consistent results. But by taking over the entire digital marketing strategy, we’re able to create cohesion, maximize ROI, and get our clients real growth.

If you’re tired of patchwork marketing strategies that don’t connect, maybe it’s time to rethink your approach.

Let’s make everything work together to grow your clinic—not just your likes.

Before we partnered with this Luxury Med Spa in Aspen, Colorado, their entire focus was on going viral. They were pouring time and money into “trendy” content, boosting posts, chasing likes, and tracking all the wrong numbers. The result? Big reach online, but not enough new patients walking through the door. After we onboarded them into The Takeover, we shifted their attention to what really moves the needle: booked appointments, rebooking rates, and per-visit revenue. Within months, their...

Hi Reader, Let me tell you a story about a group of cosmetic dentists we onboarded. Their practice was thriving, at least on the surface with all the pretty photos and office decor and beautiful staff, but behind the scenes, they were spending nearly $10,000 a month on paid ads between — Google, Facebook, Instagram—you name it. Their former marketing company convinced them that ads were all they needed. To be clear it wasn’t even a marketing company it was a "LEAD GENERATION" company. Please...
