SOO wHat DO YOU do?

Hey there,

Hope you're doing great this Monday evening! I wanted to shoot you a quick email today about something we don't talk about often – business boundaries.

I had this potential client recently, and they were all excited about me taking over their marketing. Cool, right? But then they dropped a bombshell – they also wanted me to train their entire staff and their "Marketing Director" 🤯

Now, don't get me wrong, I love a challenge.

But here's the thing: training their staff? That's a whole different ball game, my friend. And it's not something I include in my marketing packages. It's a separate consulting package.

So, I had to make a tough call. I politely explained that while I'd love to help with their marketing, training their staff would be a separate deal.

Did it cost me the account? Yup, it did. But you know what? I'm okay with that.

Because setting boundaries isn't about saying no to opportunities. It's about saying yes to the right ones – the ones that align with who we are and what we stand for.

Sure, it stung a bit to let that big account slip through my fingers. But you know what felt even better? Sticking to my guns and staying true to what I believe in.

So, here's the takeaway: boundaries matter, folks. They're like the guardrails that keep us on track and protect our sanity.

As business owners, we've gotta know where to draw the line. Because when we do, we're not just protecting ourselves – we're setting ourselves up for success.

Alright, that's enough rambling from me. Thanks for listening!

Enjoy your night!

Before we partnered with this Luxury Med Spa in Aspen, Colorado, their entire focus was on going viral. They were pouring time and money into “trendy” content, boosting posts, chasing likes, and tracking all the wrong numbers. The result? Big reach online, but not enough new patients walking through the door. After we onboarded them into The Takeover, we shifted their attention to what really moves the needle: booked appointments, rebooking rates, and per-visit revenue. Within months, their...

Reader When I first started working with medical and dental aesthetic clinics, I noticed a pattern. A very toxic pattern. Everyone thought social media was the answer—the magic bullet to grow their business. “Just post more,” they’d say. “Go viral, and the clients will come flooding in.” But one experience humbled me real quick. I remember working with a cosmetic dentist who said, “Followers? More followers? Well, Cheri, with all due respect, we want to see an ROI. Where the hell is our money...
